The announcement ‘wine, coffee, beer, mineral water!’ signals the arrival of the catering service on board of some GoldenPass Panoramic trains. As a passenger you can recline luxuriously in your seat and be waited on. Drinks will be brought to your seat by a hostess. Snacks, such as sandwiches and Plate, are also available.
Enjoy being waited on like a king sitting in a luxurious seat and sipping champagne as you take in the view of the Alps passing by outside the window. This is the experience proposed by the GoldenPass Classic train of the Montreux-Bernese Oberland Railway. Passengers in the wine-tasting car in 2nd class or the gorgeous Belle Epoque cars in 1st class can order a selection of cheese and cold meat specialities served on a wooden board to be brought to their seat. A glass of fine wine from the Lake Geneva region is the perfect accompaniment. Reservations are strongly recommended.
